Under the new Indigenization law, native Zimbabweans have the Right to become shareholders in foreign owned companies operating in Zimbabwe. Specifically, over 50 percent of all the businesses in the country will be eventually transferred to majority Zimbabweans with 51% shares being acquired by locals while the remaining 49% is left for foreigners.
