In the House of Commons on 18 September 2012, MP Paul Flynn compared UK Defence Minister Phillip Hammond to the politicians who lied to the British people during the First World War. The British government is lying today and sending soldiers be kill and die in a war which is obviously pointless and lost. He was thrown out for "unparliamentary" behaviour and suspended for five days. Paul Flynn said he had no regrets.
